Olympic College provides several Microsoft Office products for free to current students through the Office 365 for Education program. Below, you will find descriptions for all the programs either available for download or accessible through Office Online services.

When using MS Office in the cloud using the office.com portal, here are steps to take you to the apps, including student email in MS Outlook:

For keyboard only steps to getting to Office 365 apps in the cloud, do the following:

Navigate to https://m365.cloud.microsoft.com/apps
Log in using your Olympic College account.
Tab multiple times as needed until focused in the navigation region of the page, then use the down arrow to reach "Apps" in the navigation menu.
Select Outlook to read student email or the app of your choice.

Screen reader users can navigate by regions or landmarks to reach this same Apps link.

Student Email in Outlook and Mail, Calendar, People and Tasks and Outlook Online

Outlook offers the combined services of the Office Online applications Mail, Calendar, People, and Tasks. These programs allow the user to receive, catalog, and send emails, make appointments and invite other users, create contacts and contact groups, and keep track of to-do lists and deadlines.

Word and Word Online

Word is Microsoft's word processor tool, allowing users to create, format, and modify text-based documents. MS Word for available to download, while Word Online is accessible directly through your preferred web browser.

Excel and Excel Online

Excel is a spreadsheet program that enables users to format, organize and calculate data, create graphs, or simply record data in rows and columns. Excel is available for download, while Excel Online is accessible directly through your preferred web browser.

PowerPoint and PowerPoint Online

PowerPoint allows users to create slide show presentations. Users can create slides featuring text, images, graphs, videos, and other multimedia to provide the most informative representation of their data, and then can present their slides to an audience by switching to Slide Show mode. PowerPoint is available for download, while PowerPoint Online is accessible directly through your preferred web browser.

OneDrive

OneDrive is a cloud-based file hosting service. Users can upload, sync, and share folders and documents either publicly or with specific users. Currently, OneDrive offers 1 TB (one terabyte) of free online storage and is the default save location for students working in labs or in MS Office in the cloud.

Teams is a collaboration platform that integrates instant messaging, audio and video calling, online meetings, and file sharing within a unified workspace. Students are welcome to form as many teams within the MS Teams application as they wish. An unused (abandoned) team will delete on its own after one year.

OneNote and OneNote Online

OneNote collects a user's notes, whether handwritten, drawn, recorded, or typed, and allows them to be easily categorized, searched, or shared among other OneNote users. OneNote also allows multi-user annotation and collaboration within shared pages. OneNote is available for download, while OneNote Online is accessible directly through your preferred web browser.
